Your emails, videos, blogs are all messages that are going out to your prospects. When mapping these messages it is imperative to use certain triggers, Mental Triggers in order for them to generate the greatest affect on the consumer.
For example, if you are launching a product, or selling material you need to plan how to build hype and anticipation until it climaxes at launch.
To create a successful video you need to ensure it is story related, appeals to the community, has a reason why, has social proof and the likability factor to name but a few.
Here are a list of Mental Triggers that you need to incorporate when creating your content for the consumer-
* Stories
* Event based
* Community
* Social Proof
* Scarcity
* Emotions
* Specific
* Consistent
* Authority
* Surprise
* Likability
* Reciprocity
* Character
* Reason Why
* Content
* Controversy
Obviously, one single video, email or blog can not hit all these triggers but incorporating some of these into your content will generate massive results.
Okay, here it is, the final ability we all must acquire as part of our Personal Development.
Some people believe this is the hardest ability to put into action and that you only reap the rewards in your business when you do so.
Develop the ability to Share- If you learn something today, pass it along.
“Everybody wins when somebody shares.“
Sharing helps the person you share with. It also makes you bigger than you are.
Question- If a glass is full, can it hold anymore water?
Answer- Yes, for it to hold more you have got to pour out what is already in.
Thats what we should do as Internet Marketers, if you are full of good information, pour it out, why? Because more will be poured in.
Remember capacity is unlimited. We do not lack capacity we only lack teachers. Share what you have got, then you will reap the rewards, that is when it all changed for me.
“Learn to share it is a Glorious Experience.”

Once again, thank you for joining me as we move into part 4 of the 5 ESSENTIAL Abilities we all must acquire as part of our Personal Development, both in our Personal life and Business life. Okay, here it is, number 4-
The ability to Act- take action. Don’t lose much time. Heres the time to act,
‘when the emotion is hot and the emotion is strong.’
Action as soon as possible. If you don’t this is what happens- The Law of Diminishing Intent.
‘ We intend to when the thought strikes us but we don’t.’
Translate your intent into ACTION. Take action before the IDEA passes.
Remember- EVERYTHING matters. EVERY let down affects the rest of your performance.
EVERY new discipline affects the rest of your discipline. Taking ACTION will inspire you to take more ACTION.
Heres an interesting fact for you-
90% of people will not take action, 10% will. The figures won’t change but the faces will, don’t get left behind.
Learn well, discipline yourself well and you can have all the treasures you wish.
Take charge of your life.
Take this away with you today,
‘Is the best you can do, all you can do?’

So, here is part 3, the ability to REFLECT
The ability to reflect, meaning go back over. Study it again. Go back through the post one more time, read the text one more time. However, there is more to it than that. Run the tapes again so the day can lock in firmly. Below are some good times to reflect, try them and see what a difference it will make to your life-
1) At the end of the day- take a few minutes at the end of the day, go back over the day, what did you see? what did they say? what happened? what went on? Capture the day
“A day is a mosaic of your life”
Don’t treat it casual, get from the day, go back over the day so it locks in that experience. Everything, the colors, the sounds, the images, the panorama. Lock it in so it will serve you for the future.
2) Take a few hours at the end of the week- go back over your daytime and go back over your calender. Go back over your appointment book. What went on? Capture the week.
3) Take half a day at the end of the month called time to reflect- go back over the month and capture it.
4) Take a weekend at the end of the year- establish this year now firmly in your consciousness, firmly in your experience bank, so that you have got it and it never disappears.
REMEMBER- it is so valuable to be able to remember. Remember the thought, the idea, the experience. The day, the occasion, the weather, the emotion, the complexity. Remember the highs, the lows. How did you learn? How did you change? What have you got now that you didn’t have at the start of your business? Sometimes you can reflect with somebody, your business partner, your husband/wife.
However, here is one of the most important things, ‘Learn to Reflect with YOURSELF.’ There is something to be said about solitude. You need that time on your own to reflect. How do you do it? Share your experiences. Reflecting on your own gives you time to go back over your life, your skills your experiences. Alone. Some things you need to do a lone. Go to the closet, shut the door, lock everything out.
Key Point- here is why it it important to reflect; to ‘make the PAST more valuable to serve your FUTURE.’ Gather up the past and learn to invest it in your future. Work on yourself, only then will you bring more value to your business. Not self sacrifice, self development. Self sacrifice only brings contempt. Self development brings RESPECT.
I used to use the old expression ‘you take care of me and I will take care of you.’ However, I found out how short ended and shallow that was. I changed it to read like this-
‘I’ll take care of me for you, if you will please take care of you for me.’ Self Development.
Gather up the time you have been an entrepreneur and INVEST in your future.

So, here is part 2, the ability to RESPOND
Learn to Respond- the ability to respond means let life touch you. Don’t let it kill you but let it touch you. Let sad things make you sad, let happy things make you happy. I am telling you to give into the emotion, let the emotion take over you, not just the pictures, not just the words, let the feeling strike you.
Heres what’s important, “our emotions need to be as educated as our intellect.”
It is important to let life in, it is important to learn how to respond.
I am the greatest guy in the world to take to the movies. I get into a good movie, I want a movie to make me laugh, make me cry, take me high, take me low, TEACH me something. Just don’t leave as I was when I came in.
I’m asking you to get it. ABSORB and RESPOND.
Take this point away today- ‘If you have got a message to share, if it is one person or a thousand, don’t let your ego get in the way.’
There a lot of business changes I have made over my time as an Internet Marketer but the information I am going to share with you improved ALL aspects of life.
So, number 1-
The ability to ABSORB- the ability to soak it up, like you are today, like a sponge. Don’t miss anything, not just the words, don’t miss the atmosphere, the colors or the scenario. Don’t miss what’s going on. Most people are just trying to get through the day. Learn how to get FROM the day. Let the day teach you, join the University of life. What a difference that will make in your future.
Commit yourself to learning, commit yourself to absorbing.
“Wherever you are, be there!”
Be there to absorb it up, be there to soak it up. Take a picture if you can. Let your heart and soul take pictures. Get it, Capture it, Absorb it!
This is such an ability to develop. Don’t be casual in getting it.
Key Phrase, “Casualness leads to Casualties“
